Our Story
Northern Colorado United for Youth (NOCO UNIFY) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization centered around raising money for charities serving disadvantaged children in Northern Colorado.
In May 2007, our organization started with five members. It has now grown to 30+ active members between the ages of 29-39 and 60+ past members. Since the beginning, we have made it a priority to be a fundraising pillar in our community as well as an organization where young and emerging leaders can immerse themselves into the community, develop strong leadership skills, and grow. NOCO UNIFY aims to expand the base of community service by having young community leaders take part in philanthropic events earlier in life. Our goal is to not only impact the lives of our youth but young leaders as well.

OUR IMPACT
NOCO UNIFY hosts annual events to raise money for child-based nonprofits in Northern Colorado. Year after year, our popular events - the Suitcase Party, the Kids Classic Golf Tournament, and the Down and Derby Party - surpass donation goals and continue to be some of the most successful fundraising events in our region. We are constantly looking to do more and give more. We work to discover new and creative ways to not only champion giving back to our community and our youth but also work with local groups to reach even further to outside our region and state for matching dollars.

In 2015, I was invited to apply to NoCo United for Youth to contribute to our community and represent Woodward. It has been a life-changing experience for me. Partnering and raising funds for our remarkable youth charities in Northern Colorado has been incredibly rewarding. I've witnessed the dedication and care within our community firsthand. Raising funds alongside a group of passionate individuals and giving grants ranging from $3,000 to $100,000 has been a humbling and gratifying experience. Additionally, I've forged strong friendships with young leaders in our community and developed a lifelong passion for philanthropic work. Unify has spurred significant personal growth which has bled into my career, for which I am profoundly grateful.

It has been an honor to be a part of United for Youth since 2013. We have had a tremendous impact on the community through our events, financial donations and member development. I am proud to continue my efforts with the group and help usher in the next generation of leaders in our community that will be responsible for the future success of the group and will undoubtedly take the organization to new heights. Being a part of Unify has opened my eyes to how fortunate many of us are and how much need there is even in a desirable community like Northern Colorado. We will continue to advocate for at-risk youth and make this a better place for the generations to come.

When I first became involved with NoCo Unify in 2019, my intention was to commit to something greater than myself—something that would go beyond my day-to-day roles and responsibilities. I can honestly say that NoCo Unify has done just that. The work we do here is beyond rewarding. The impact we've made through our missions has filled my heart with joy and pride. There's something priceless about knowing that our efforts are directly benefiting the local youth and creating positive change in the community. Each day, I am reminded of how meaningful and fulfilling it is to be part of this collective effort. Beyond the joy of giving back, I’ve also had the privilege of working alongside an incredible group of young professionals who continuously challenge me. The environment of collaboration and growth has pushed me to grow personally and professionally in ways I hadn’t anticipated. The opportunity to learn from such driven and passionate individuals has been an invaluable part of my experience. I look forward to continuing this journey with NoCo Unify, knowing that our work is making a lasting impact and that I’m part of something bigger than myself.

I joined Northern Colorado United for Youth because, after attending their events for over 10 years, I knew I could do more to help. I had witnessed the incredible impact of this group in supporting underprivileged youth in Northern Colorado and felt compelled to get involved at a deeper level. Serving alongside a dedicated group of young professionals has been one of the most rewarding and fun experiences of my life. Together, we raise funds in extraordinary ways for organizations that provide critical resources and opportunities to children who need them most. Being part of something bigger than myself—helping to create lasting change for local youth—has been an incredibly fulfilling journey. I’m grateful for the chance to contribute to a cause that truly makes a difference in our community.

I first became acquainted with Northern Colorado Unified for Youth as a sponsor in 2016. It was clear to me that the organization put on great events; at that time the signature events were The Down and Derby and The Suitcase Party. As I dug into it deeper, I was able to see the tremendous financial impact the organization was making for northern Colorado youth-based non-profits. In 2020 I joined the organization as a Member. I thought that in joining the organization I would be able to make a big impact, but in truth, I have been the one that gained! The richness in relationships made will last a lifetime. I am beyond grateful for the impact that Northern Colorado for Youth has made on my life and in the communities we support!

Becoming a part of NOCO Unify isn’t an obligation it’s an incredible opportunity to make a difference for kids right here in our neighborhood. I’ve seen how teamwork and compassion can create life-changing impacts, and I feel called to be part of that transformation. NOCO Unify has allowed me to contribute in ways that inspire growth, strengthen community ties, and encourage leadership development. It’s been more than just an outlet for giving back it’s also given me the chance to connect with others who share this passion and to grow personally and professionally. Helping children in need is a reward in itself, but this experience has taught me how to bring people together around a common goal and make a meaningful impact. I’m grateful for this journey and all the ways it continues to inspire me.

Driven by a commitment to both professional growth and community impact, I joined NOCO Unify to empower young people. I understand the role that accessible resources play in children’s lives. By volunteering with NOCO Unify, I know kiddos with a similar background as myself growing up are receiving the resources needed to better their lives. I appreciate the brotherhood shared between the members of NOCO Unify and am always excited to help with our big fundraising events we do to raise funds for Northern Colorado children.

I joined Northern Colorado United for Youth because it provides the chance to be part of something much greater than I could ever accomplish on my own. NOCO Unify is a brotherhood of young professionals that come together with open hearts and a shared mission to make a difference in the lives of kids in Northern Colorado. It’s about giving back, being philanthropic, and using the resources we have, to lift others up. Knowing that our work gives kids a shot at something better, something brighter, is truly inspiring. This experience has shown me the power of unity, generosity, and purpose in creating lasting change for the kids in our community that need it most.

I joined NOCO Unify with a desire to give back to my community and support children who, like I once did, need others to rally around them. I've seen the impact that compassionate, collaborative efforts can have on lives, and I’m inspired to contribute by fostering community engagement, leadership development, and personal growth. Through NOCO Unify, I've not only found a path for meaningful philanthropy but also built confidence in uniting others around impactful causes and made lasting friendships. While our mission to help children in need is rewarding enough on its own merits, this experience has empowered me to drive engagement and commitment in ways that extend beyond Unify, enriching both my professional and personal life.

I have two young sons at home, and the idea of them going through the abuse, food insecurity, and home instability that some kids in our area experience is heartbreaking. Having this realization helped me understand how much it would mean to me to have a community that could help. I immediately felt inspired to step up and find a way to make a difference. When I was invited to apply for Northern Colorado United for Youth in 2022 I jumped at the chance, and it has been one of the defining experiences of my life so far. Witnessing and being a small part of the immense difference this organization has made for kids in our area has been such a gift. All kids deserve to have someone in their corner, and I'm thankful to be part of a group of dedicated men that are willing to step up to the plate.

The opportunity to support this community by making a positive impact in the lives of our youth brought me to Northern Colorado United for Youth. Having grown up in Northern Colorado, where I am now a CPA and father of three, I feel a deep responsibility to give back and provide valuable resources. The impact of our work extends beyond the funds we raise and the grants we deliver; it fosters both personal and professional growth for all involved. I am immensely grateful for the chance to give back to our community and for the profound impact this group has had on my life. I eagerly anticipate witnessing the growth and evolution of Unify as we continue to serve the future.

Once an at risk youth myself and being the benefactor of people within my community supporting and helping me when I needed it most growing up - it was a no brainer to join NOCO Unify back in 2015. I'm proud to be a member of this group not just becuase of the support we are able to provide to the non profits and at risk youth in our community - but also becuase being in this group has made us all individually better. Better husbands, fathers, friends and we all look forward to helping the next generation of members keep it going.

I joined NOCO Unify in 2019 because I have a deep passion for empowering youth in our community. Since becoming a father of two boys, I have an even greater appreciation for the amazing work Unify does to improve the lives of youth who really need our help. While it's continually rewarding to participate in hosting the great events we put on to support our cause, the most meaningful experience for me has been participating on the Grants Committee. Collaborating with local organizations to ensure that our funding goes directly to initiatives which truly impact young people is extremely rewarding; throughout this process, I am continually amazed at how creative our non-profit partners are in their stewardship of our community resources. I am blessed to be a part of this group - it has been one of the highlights of my life.

Joining NoCO Unify has been a blessing in my life. My first introduction to this group was attending the Down & Derby party in 2018. After seeing the impact of this event, and the comraderie of the gentlemen running it, I knew this was an organization I would love to be a part of. I joined NoCo Unify the following year in 2019 and our monthly meetings and annual events have grown to be the favorite part of my schedule. I feel lucky to have joined such an incredible group that loves giving back to their community. I was born and raised in Northern Colorado and being able to support and empower the youth in the community I grew up in, is a passion of mine. Being a part of this group, I have made friendships that will last a lifetime with like-minded individuals that want to do better for their community and support children in need.

I've lived in Fort Collins since I was 18. over the years I'd been to a couple of NoCo Unify events. However it wasn't until having our first child that I felt the need to do more. Now with 3 children I see everyday how tough it can be to make ends meet. It is important to me that us as a family do our best to give back to those in need. Unify has been the perfect place for me to do this. Being a part of a group that has one singlular mindset is wonderful. We have fun, we throw great parties, but in the end it's all about one goal. We're here to raise as much money for the youth in northern Colorado as we can.

I joined NOCO Unify in September 2022, and it has brought me incredible friendships and unforgettable memories over the years. The passion and dedication of this group in Northern Colorado are unmatched, allowing us to make a meaningful impact on the community we all share. My motivation for joining was to help ensure that every child has access to the experiences they deserve. Growing up with a brother who has special needs has given me a unique perspective on the importance of our mission, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to support families in similar situations. I look forward to many more years of raising funds and making a difference for the kids in our community.

I joined Northern Colorado United for Youth in 2023 to do my part in helping the communities of Northern Colorado. I had always heard about the organization through personal/professional avenues and had even attended some of the events in the past. This organization is known throughout Northern Colorado as one of the premier groups for fundraising for children in need. The amount of support and attendance to these events just goes to show how Northern Colorado can rally around a great cause; and this is a great cause. The children and families that benefit from these efforts are extremely needed and appreciated each year. It takes a full community to make an actual change in this world, and I'm very blessed to be a part of this organization that does make a difference in children's lives.

Throughout the years I have had the opportunity to be part of a few different non-profit and charity efforts that had goals I believed in, but I never really got to see the impact, or the benefactors turned out to be communities other than my own. Northern Colorado Unify’s mission and reach in our local community has been very eye-opening on how important our efforts are firsthand. This organization has accomplished many amazing things for local children, yet we still have not scratched the surface of what is needed. The Northern Colorado area is poised for significant growth and now more than ever our youth need help. This group of compassionate and inspiring young men have built something that is very special over the last 20 years, I am honored to help carry on and grow the legacy.

I joined NOCO Unify because I believe there is no greater honor than leveraging the collective strength of individuals motivated towards a common goal of improving communities, especially when it comes to bettering the lives of the next generation. With four young daughters of my own, I’m especially passionate about leaving behind a better world for not only my own kids, but providing support and opportunities to thrive for all youth. To me, NOCO Unify is about harnessing the collective power of motivated individuals to collaborate and make a meaningful impact in the communities where we work and play. Outside of work and volunteering, you can probably find me chasing my kids around, shanking golf balls at Pelican Lakes, or doing my best to impersonate Gordon Ramsay in my kitchen at home.
